279 kilometres of multi award-winning, immaculately groomed cross-country skiing trails, for both classic and skating techniques, covering all levels of difficulty, make the Olympiaregion an absolute delight for all cross-country skiers. In addition, the Nordic Competence Centre boasts 2 new ski jumps, biathlon facilities that rank among Europe’s most modern as well high-tech snow-making amenities.
With 48 kilometres of slopes and some 30 state-of-the-art cable-cars and lifts, the Seefeld Ski Arena offers unadulterated fun for ski and snowboard aficionados, while the 5 ski schools provide courses tailored to suit the needs of every skier – from young beginners to seasoned experts.
More than 140 kilometres of groomed winter hiking trails leading past cosy mountain huts, guided snowshoe hikes, 3 ice-skating rinks, numerous curling lanes and 5 toboggan tracks round off the extensive list of attractions and activities.
Sport & fun in the mountains
For walking, hiking and climbing enthusiasts, the area boasts 650 km of marked walking and hiking trails and via ferrata routes covering all levels of difficulty. A Nordic Walking & Running Arena with a 266 km-long network of marked trails, over 200 km of cycling and mountain biking tracks, 2 golf courses, an indoor tennis centre and 17 outdoor courts, riding facilities, 2 modern leisure pools and 3 bathing lakes are all available for your enjoyment. The area has plenty to offer for paragliders, kayakers and footballers, while the Nordic Competence Centre caters for skaters and biathletes.
