Sport, fun and a holiday in the snow: hardly any other ski area offers such a wide range of sports and cultural facilities combined with warm Tyrolean hospitality and a variety of exciting events as found in the Olympiaregion Seefeld.
The unique natural landscape and salubrious climate at 1,200 metres makes the region a vast "outdoor fitness centre", even in winter, for skiers and cross-country skiers, hikers and Nordic walkers. From early December to late March, the region invites winter sports fans to enjoy perfectly groomed slopes at an altitude of 1,200 - 2,100m and 279km of well-prepared trails, with a range of breathtaking tours and sporting challenges. Holidaymakers who prefer an alternative to skiing can explore the beautiful snowy landscape on foot: the region offers 143km of cleared winter hiking trails and numerous cosy alpine taverns where you can relax and recharge your batteries. You can also take a toboggan on your winter hike - and after a cosy meal take the fast route home by racing down one of the five toboggan runs in the region.
Naturally, lovers of health clubs will not miss out, because no other region in the Alps has so many hotels with spas dedicated to wellbeing, relaxation and regeneration as on the Seefeld high plateau. In addition to classic spa treatments the region also offers fitness and medical therapies.
In terms of lifestyle, the Olympiaregion Seefeld also has a lot to offer. For decades the popular resort of Seefeld has been considered the holiday resort to "see and be seen in". People meet while strolling through the romantic pedestrian zone lined with exquisite shops, during an entertaining evening at the casino, or in one of the numerous restaurants, bars, cafes and discos.
The region also enjoys a special reputation as a popular tourist destination on Advent weekends. Every year, the five alpine villages of the Olympiaregion Seefeld become a "romantic Advent region" with colourful Christmas markets, contemplative concerts, chapel walks, and more.
