Playing golf at the highest level – in the Olympiaregion Seefeld

The wealth of golfing opportunities in the Olympiaregion Seefeld’s will stir the heart of every golfer.

To play golf in the Olympiaregion Seefeld is to experience nature at its finest. The 18 fairways of the Seefeld-Wildmoos Golf Club, which is a member of the “Leading Golf Courses Austria”, were landscaped some 40 years ago by the English architect Donald Harradine. Designed in such a way as to blend in with the undulating Alpine landscape with its meadows and forests of larch and birch, surrounded by majestic fir and spruce trees, experts rightly rank it among the world’s top 100 golf courses.

Depending on the season, the fairways are surrounded by flowering meadows of bright blue gentian, by colourful summer blooms or by the rich colours of autumn. The Alpine elevation and comparatively thin mountain air lengthen your drive and, along with the breathtaking views, you’re guaranteed an unforgettable game. And if you fancy taking it easy one day, why not play a round on the 9-hole course at the Golfclub Seefeld-Reith situated right in the village itself.

In both Wildmoos and in the Golfclub Seefeld-Reith, qualified golf pros are available to assist you with your game – but beware - once you’ve been infected with the golf virus there’s no escaping the lure of this unique sport.

There are many other attractive golf courses in the region’s immediate surroundings, an hour’s drive away at the most – pure, unadulterated golfing pleasure guaranteed!
