Family Holidays in the Region Seefeld

Winter enjoyment for large and small on Tyrol's high plateau

Romping through the glistening snow, hiking through the winter landscape with alpacas, becoming the fastest on the toboggan, learning your first turns in one of the world's smaller ski areas, practising pirouettes on the ice rink or playing a game of ice hockey on the natural ice of the Möserer See – this is how the winter days on Tirols Hochplateau are filled. Once it gets dark, you can play cards with mum and dad in one of the rustic huts, go swimming in the indoor pools, enjoy an evening at the cinema or try one of the countless other experiences in the Region Seefeld. Let us surprise you with how varied and "hoamelig" a real Tyrolean winter can be, one that still feels a little like it did back in the day.

By the way, a successful family holiday starts with a relaxed journey. It's quick and easy to get to Seefeld thanks to its own ICE train station! Then take the free regional transport to the family hotel and from there off into nature. After all, at 1,200 metres you are already in the middle of the mountains!

AROUND THE REGION SEEFELD

More destinations
The Seefeld Region also has a lot to offer beyond its borders: For example, a day trip to the provincial capital of Tyrol, Innsbruck, to the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens or to the Mittenwald Violin Museum. With the Karwendelbahn from Scharnitz/Gießenbach, Seefeld and Reith, you can also enjoy one of the most spectacular railroad lines in Austria - with a total of 19 kilometers, 16 tunnels, 18 bridges and viaducts, as well as a good 600 meters of altitude between Inntal and Seefeld.
