5th Int. Dog-Sleigh Race

An exiting event for eyeryone! Scharnitz is the venue, as in the years before, for the different categories of dog-sleigh racing....

From skijoring (a competitor is dragged on skis behind the team of dogs) to the Pulka categories (the dogs pull on a sled which is connected via a line to a skier) and many more categories, the racing will guarantee exciting competition and raise the pulse of every animal and sports lover. There is a spectacular night race planned for Thursday, January 6. Around 100 teams from Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia and the Czech Republic have already registered and are looking forward to an exciting event with great snow.

Start: 10.. am, Innsbruckerstraße, behind Tankstelle Reinpold
Trails: 8 km, 12 km, 16 km and 20 km
