To allow ambitious hikers, Nordic walkers and runners to enjoy the impressive beauty of Karwendel Alpine Nature Park, Olympiaregion Seefeld is organising the now legendary Karwendel March together with the Vitalregion Achensee region.
And in the high summer of 2013, the regions will once again be inviting participants to take part in a long distance march together. To do so, hikers will need to conquer paths leading to 2,281 metres in altitude (uphill). The route leads from a start in Scharnitz, via the Eng valley, to Pertisau am Achensee. The emphasis throughout is on providing a fascinating nature experience and strengthening visitors’ awareness of Karwendel Alpine Nature Park as a unique environment for numerous rare flora and fauna.
