9th IML 3 day "Unicorn March"
18.09. - 21.09.2008 | Olympiaregion Seefeld
Friendships between peoples and the healthy effects of hiking are the primary topics. Participants from more than 20 nations will take part on this hiking event. The maximum distance to be travelled every day is 42 km, culminating in honouring the "IML Master Walker". Of course it is also possible to walk only 30, 20 or 10 km a day, depending on fitness level. It is not important how quickly this is achieved – what counts is hiking in a group and the enjoyment of the beautiful nature.

Thursday, September 18th
10.00am – 09.00pm:
Issuing of start cards in the WM Hall
from 7.30pm onwards:
Opening ceremony in the WM Hall with food, drink and music. Admission free!
Friday, September 19th
06.00am–07.30am:
Start of the 42 km Leutasch Marathon
07.00am–12.00 midday:
Start: Olympia Walk 10 km , 3 Lakes Walk 20 km , Wildmoos Walk 30 km
Saturday, September 20th
06.00am – 7.30am:
Start of the 42 km Panorama Marathon
07.00am – 12.00 midday:
Start: Gschwandtkopf Walk 10 km, Inntalblick Walk 20 km, Lärchenwald Walk 30 km
07.45pm:
Official honouring of the IML Master Walker in the WM Hall
08.15pm:
Tyrolean Evening in the WM Hall with show programme, food and drink. Admission free!
Sunday, September 21st
06.00am–07.30am:
Start of the 42 km Scharnitz Marathon
07.00am - 12 midday:
Start: Bauernwald Walk 10 km, Giessenbach Walk 20 km, Karwendel Walk 30 km
03.00pm:
Closing event, prize giving in the WM Hall in Seefeld
We reserve the right to change the programme or routes!
Starting fees:
With prior registration € 20,- per person for all 3 days, including IML Medal and Stamp. IML certificate for the kilometres walked at an extra cost of € 2,-.
At least the 20km route must be achieved on all 3 days.
Late registrations € 25,- p. p. from September 12th, possible only in the WM Hall in Seefeld
IVV-classification without award: € 3,- per person and day, € 8,- per person for 3 days
