Reith – Energy from tranquillity and hospitality
Protected… Unique… Charming… Reith
The welcoming Tyrolean village of Reith, high above the Inntal Valley at an altitude of 1,130 m, with a unique view of the surrounding mountain landscape and lots of sunshine, invites you to stay a while. Goethe described this small village only 3km from Seefeld as “indescribably beautiful”.
In Reith great importance is placed on personal attention, peace and hospitality – whether the ladies’ choir is helping to organise authentic festivals or a few stories are being told around the regulars’ table at the bar. Culture is very important – learn more by visiting the 10 stations on the Culture Walk.
Guests also praise this charming mountain village as a hiking paradise and combine wonderful countryside with various activities: 450 km of hiking paths all around Reith welcome families, those looking for a relaxing break and experienced mountain climbing enthusiasts to climb the summits or to take part in the international 3-day ‘Einhornmarsch’ walking event.
It is also easy to combine the feel-good factor with an interesting excursion into the secret life of bees – since 2006 Reith has also been home to a bee nature trail and Austria’s first bee hotel.
