The approximately two and a half kilometres long toboggan run Katzenkopfhütte (formerly Kreith Alm/Hochmoos Alm) leads from Seewald to the Katzenkopf with a gradient of about 12% and overcomes 250 metres of difference in altitude. From the Kreithlift valley station, the difference in altitude to the Katzenkopfhütte at the summit can be overcome particularly comfortably via mountain railway. Alternatively you can walk up the family-friendly toboggan run from the car park in about 40 minutes. For delicious refreshments, sparkling refreshments and steaming hot drinks, the Katzenkopfhütte at the summit welcomes skiers, tobogganers and hikers on its spacious sun terrace. At the Kreithlift valley station you can also rent a toboggan if necessary and simply return it there after the descent - or go for another spin! As the medium-difficulty downhill run crosses the ski slope several times along the way, increased caution is required up and down. Every Tuesday, the toboggan run and ski slope are also illuminated at night - always from 19:00 to 21:30.
