5° / 20° CSince its foundation in 1891, the Musikverein Harmonie Adliswil has been an integral part of the cultural life of the Sihltal region. In 1975, Rolf Egger took over the musical fate of Harmonie Adliswil and, with his unconventional musical style at the time, left his mark on the club and on brass band music throughout the region. No sooner was a hit song on the market than Rolf Egger took up the pen and arranged the piece for the Harmonie without further ado. The Harmonie has remained true to this style to this day, combining traditional brass band music with the current music scene.
In 1986, the Harmonie was the first "western" music to be a guest at the Kmoch Festival in Prague and surprised all festival participants with its swinging playing.
In 2013 Marc Bühler took over the leadership of the Harmonie Adliswil and more than successfully continues the musical legacy of Rolf Egger.
Entry to the concert is free and the musicians appreciate the large audiences.
