Sunny0° / 20° C Details & further outlook
Those who know the Karwendelhaus also know the wonderfully situated Hochalm with its magnificent view of the Karwendel valley. The alpine pastures there are increasingly shrubby and petrified and thus a unique cultural landscape is in danger of being lost. In order to keep the pastures open and to provide the cows with enough fodder over the summer, the areas have to be cleared of bushes and stoned.
Meeting point is in Scharnitz in the country. There we will form car pools and drive to the Hochalm. After a short introduction we will start with the work. We will spend the night directly in the alp building on the Hochalm. Catering is provided. More detailed information will be provided by e-mail two weeks before the event.
