Trail characteristics: The trail begins with a steep, strenuous but highly rewarding ascent over the Mundeknie.
The next part of the route through the woods to the Buchener Höhe and past 2 impressive tree houses to the Ropferstub’m inn is easy going and wonderfully scenic. After the Ropferstub’m there follows a second short uphill section after which you can enjoy a gentle downhill run back to Moos car park. The trail offers a scenically attractive route along the foot of the Hohe Munde mountain between Buchen and Moos. And as a reward for all your effort you can savour the breathtaking panoramic view down into the Inn Valley and across to the majestic surrounding mountains.
