The open and snow-sure plateau of the Olympiaregion is easily and quickly accessible at 1,200 metres in the Tyrolean Alps. Only one step from the German border and two hours from Switzerland, one is already in the Seefeld region. We have always focused on relaxation close to nature with lots of open space, short distances and sustainable tourism.
The safety and health of all is always the first priority. This is why we work together with our hosts to implement comprehensive safety concepts that far exceed the official requirements in many places. In addition to flexible booking and cancellation conditions (in some cases up to 48 hours before the start of the holiday), extensive staff testing and responsible hygiene measures, the extensive plateau offers the most important safety criterion naturally: plenty of space.
The region has already demonstrated that we can react quickly, fast and reliably in case of emergency: Within 12 hours, a dedicated SCREENING STATION was set up for guests. Thus, within only 48 hours, a total of more than 2,500 regional guests were successfully tested.
As a responsible holiday region, we focus on extensive measures for a holiday experience that is as safe as possible. You will find all the relevant information for your holiday here, summarised compactly and clearly. The valid measures are constantly changing - for the most up-to-date information, please always also check the official web portals of the authorities.
Après-ski and party locations are not to be found in Seefeld. Instead, the Olympiaregion has always focused on natural relaxation in a unique landscape. The centre of the village is only a few steps away from the ski lifts, cross-country ski tracks and hiking trails. Thanks to the highest density of wellness establishments in the Alpine region, one can enjoy numerous excellent spa facilities with particularly generous space. On average, one person can enjoy as much space as three football pitches in the region – guests and locals both counted in.
In order to ensure that contacts can be tracked seamlessly, registration is mandatory in all restaurants and bars. For this purpose, our guests and hosts in the Olympiaregion Seefeld can now use the free web app TRACY.
Only a few metres from the front door lies the extensive network of cross-country ski trails of the Olympiaregion. Nearly 250 kilometres of classic and skating tracks connect the most beautiful places on the extensive high plateau to impressive and scenic runs. Night, dog and sledge tracks complete the varied cross-country skiing offer.
Nearly 30 perfectly groomed kilometres of slopes are accessible without gondolas. Wide slopes and lots of sunshine make the clearly arranged ski areas of the region ideal for responsible snow enjoyment. All children's and practice areas are even accessible without lifts. Many of the ski areas are also within walking distance of the house and hotel door.
Extensive and perfectly groomed winter hiking trails lead to breathtaking viewpoints and the most beautiful huts in the Alpine region. There you can warm yourself by the crackling fire of the oven and, if you like, take the toboggan run back down to the valley.
The region has good public transport connections and an extensive regional transport infrastructure. For the coming winter season, we are focusing on generous transport capacities, additional shuttle buses and own hotel transfers. With a guest card, the entire regional transport infrastructure is available free of charge, but most activities are within walking distance anyway.
However, those who have to do without a holiday in Seefeld due to the current situation can also simply bring the unique atmosphere of the Olympiaregion home: With the Sound of Seefeld we have collected the natural diversity on the sunny plateau in impressive soundscapes. For dreaming, relaxing and enjoying - no matter where you are. On Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music.
