The FIS Congress in Costa Navarino (Greece) has been in full swing since Sunday 13th May 2018. More than 1,100 people are taking part in this 51st FIS Congress, which is focussing on the development of the FIS disciplines, as well as on how to guide the International Ski Association forward in a modern and innovative way, thereby ensuring success both now and in the future.
A delegation representing the WM Seefeld 2019 (Chief of OC Christian Scherer, Chief of Administration Yvonne Kirnbauer) is taking advantage of the occasion to update FIS representatives and members on the current situation in Seefeld. As well as a presentation to the Nordic FIS Committee specifically about the sporting aspects, Seefeld also has the opportunity to showcase to the FIS Management Committee, the progress in terms of the organisation for the World Championships.
The delegation will return to Seefeld with lots of new input, inspiration and feedback to help the «Hand in Hand» preparations and ensure a fantastic World Championship event. 278 days to go!
