A comprehensive safety concept for maximum E-Biking enjoyment

In the Olympiaregion Seefeld, e-biking is under a particularly safe and sophisticated star. A comprehensive concept covers all aspects of outdoor sports and thus allows every guest, biker and e-biker safe tours along the most beautiful areas of the region. Whether in the Gaistal on the way to the Seebensee, in Scharnitz along the Karwendel or in Mösern off the Möserer See - even if some tours are perfect for the feeling of "being alone", discoverers of the Olympiaregion Seefeld can always rely on safety.

Rules & signage

You should pay attention to that!

  • Keep your speed under control and be ready to stop at all times, especially on blind bends. Be prepared for unexpected obstacles (potholes, stones, branches, stockpiled timber, grazin stock, cattle grids, gates, tractors, forestry plant, authorized vehicles).
  • Show consideration for pedestrians. Overtake at walking pace only.
  • Check the degree of difiiculty of the trail, and never exceed your level of ability and experience. Always wear a helmet and check your equipment before starting out (brakes, bell, lights).
  • Respect all closures, and remember that the trail is primarily for agriculture and forestry. Be sure to close all gates.
  • Respect all forms natural life. Do not disturb large game. Do not leave the signpostet route. Never cycle where there is no official trail. Time your ride to be back before dusk. Leave no litter.

Signage!

The Olympiaregion Seefeld uses the official signage of the state of Tyrol. Important: The different difficulties can be recognized from three colours. (blue - easy / red - medium / black - difficult). You can find the different signposts in the download area at the very bottom.

Note!

We make every effort to check the bike routes (e-bike, mountain bike and cycle routes) advertised by us at regular intervals.

Please note that, in some cases, closures and riding restrictions may be imposed due to forestry, hunting or damage, which are beyond the control of the Seefeld Tourist Board and which may not be brought to its attention. Appropriate driving bans must be observed in any case.
Please also take into account sports-related risks such as wood cutting, grazing livestock and weather-related road conditions.
