Tobogganing
The picturesque natural toboggan run Reitherjoch Alm is one of the more challenging toboggan runs in the Seefeld region. On the ascent of the 2.5-kilometre-long track, you climb about 290 metres in altitude from the valley station of the Rosshütte cable car.
On the cleared winter hiking trail, you walk through sparse pine forest until you reach the rustic Reitherjoch Alm after about an hour's walk. After a well-deserved snack, the descent is a good 18% gradient with numerous serpentines. The toboggan run is one of the steepest runs in the entire region and is therefore only recommended for experts.
Use at your own risk. Attention, the run is not illuminated. Absolute caution is also advised at the crossing of the ski slope, where tobogganists and skiers meet. For beginners and with children, it is better to look for an easier alternative (such as the Hämmermoosalm toboggan run).
The Reitherjoch Alm can be contacted for enquiries, reservations and tobogganing information on Tel: +43 5212 2621 180, by e-mail at servus@reitherjochalm.com or on the web at https://reitherjochalm.com.
