Laid out in a star-shaped pattern, three themed trails, with starting points in Seefeld, Leutasch and Mösern, come together at the new viewing platform at the summit of the Brunschkopf mountain at an elevation of 1,510 meters. Each walking trail has its own theme with ingeniously-devised features to ensure a fascinating outdoor experience amid the untouched natural beauty of the Olympiaregion Seefeld.
The first themed walk – the ‘Seefeld Ski Trail’ – takes you on a journey through the cultural and historical development of the sport of skiing in the region. Complete with a fitness course and an old hand-crank projector, it offers a fun-filled walk for the whole family.
The second themed walk, entitled ‘Ice Age Trail’, focuses on the landscape formation of the Seefeld high plateau by glaciers in the last ice age. Interactive elements and 3D simulations bring the story of the Ice Age to life and provide a hands-on learning experience.
The final themed walk, which carries the title ‘Mental Power Trail’, provides an invitation to follow a path to your ‘inner self’. A total of 12 idyllic stops along the way, with ingeniously-designed seating areas, offer tranquil, contemplative resting places in which to replenish your energy levels and savour the beauty of the landscape.
The year-round holiday destination of the Olympiaregion Seefeld offers some 142 kilometres of cleared and well-maintained trails during the winter months too, for memorable walks and hikes amid the breathtaking, snow-covered landscape.
A true nature experience are the numerous hiking trails. Three star-shaped theme paths meet in the center on the newly built viewing platform at Brunschkopf at 1,510 m. From there you can enjoy a spectacular view over the region
