World Cup Tower
The WM Tower in the Arena365 Seefeld was built as part of the FIS Nordic Ski World Championships 2019 and is now a beautiful spot for a stopover during a walk or trip. The approximately 15-meter high tower combines traditional alpine architecture with modern design and offers an impressive view of the surrounding mountainous landscape thanks to its fully glazed exterior walls. A freely accessible staircase leads to the roof terrace, from which there is a wide view over Seefeld and the Alps. A Swarovski telescope is available for particularly clear panoramic views. The WM Tower is ideal as a viewpoint and photo spot for guests wanting to discover the region from a new perspective.

A look back: Origin and significance of the WM Tower
Background & History
The WM Tower was built in preparation for the FIS Nordic Ski World Championships 2019 – a major sporting event that took place for the second time in Seefeld after 1985. As part of extensive modernizations and construction measures, this distinctive tower was created in Arena365. Its main function during the World Championships was to serve as the media and organization center: Here, competition management, timing, announcers, judges, as well as national and international media representatives were housed. From this elevated position, the entire events at the competition venues could be optimally overseen and coordinated.
Architecturally, the WM Tower combines traditional Alpine building forms with modern carpentry techniques. The design is inspired by classic hunting high seats and the gable constructions of historical farmhouses in the region. Thus, a structure has been created that is functional for top-level sports while simultaneously making a lasting cultural and scenic impact. After the World Championships, the tower was intentionally preserved – as a visible symbol of Seefeld's close connection to Nordic skiing and as a new viewing platform for guests and locals.
