In the Leutasch district of Gasse you will find one of the most beautiful sunny spots in the Olympic region: Polis Hut. Not far from the main road, the beautiful A7 cross-country ski run also passes the cosy snack station in winter. The small wooden hut with its parlour and cosy sun terrace offers seating for about 35 people and can also be used all year round for private parties and festivities - please book in advance. Well-known and popular with sports and pleasure guests alike are the delicious cakes from the pastry chef and the "hot apricot" - of course especially during the frosty winter months. Dinners are also available on request, the ripples are legendary. In winter, there are also regular hut evenings with music, dancing and good company, if booked in advance.

SUMMER TOURS

  • Lautersee & Ferchensee
During the summer months, Polis Hütte positions itself directly on the main road to Mittenwald as an ideal starting point for (e-)bike tours to neighbouring Bavaria. There, not only the picturesque natural idyll of the Lautersee and Ferchensee lakes is ideal for an excursion, but also the ruins of the historic Alpine fortress Porta Claudia near Scharnitz can be admired along the way.
  • Leutascher Ghost Gorge
A spectacular gorge hike of a different kind: at up to 70 metres above the roaring water, you walk on narrow paths through the wildly romantic Leutascher Geisterklamm. On the way you can not only meet the mysterious ghosts and goblins of the gorge, but also discover a lot of interesting facts about the fauna and flora of the steep gorge!

WINTER TOURS

  • cross-country skiing round Kaiser Maximilian (classic & skating)
As one of the most extensive and demanding cross-country skiing circuits, the spectacular Kaiser Maximilian-Runde is based on the popular race of the same name. On the way from Seekirchl to Wildmoos, the route leads through wild and romantic woodland, runs through the scenic Leutasch Valley for (almost) its entire length and returns to Seefeld with a spectacular downhill run.
