Short distances & best accessibility
The plateau is not only easily accessible from all directions by all means of transport, but also within the towns you are mobile. The distances are short: in only 25 minutes you can walk from one end of the village to the other. For distant destinations, there is the well-developed regional network, which takes locals and guests from A to B in just a few minutes. Another plus point is the excellent train connection: Half-hourly trains from Innsbruck and Mittenwald stop in the region. Innsbruck is only 30 minutes away and can be reached quickly by train and car.
Athletes appreciate the positive effect of the optimal altitude at 1,200 meters of the region and also "normal consumers" benefit from it. The altitude has a real "doping effect" on health through increased production of red blood cells and their positive effect on respiration and circulation. The location also offers great advantages for allergy sufferers, as a large proportion of allergy-causing plants do not thrive or do not thrive to any great extent at this altitude.
Stunning landscape & nature
Living and working in the region means enjoying real, untouched nature. And that directly from the house and work door and 365 days a year. Whether peaks, lakes and water places, walking trails, e-bike tours, perfectly groomed cross-country trails or skiing areas with great views: nature lovers, sportsmen and families get their money's worth here. Entertaining and exciting sports and cultural events throughout the year ensure that there is always something going on.
Perfectly developed infrastructure
The be-all and end-all of a region as a place to live and work is an optimally developed infrastructure. This applies not only to guests, but also to locals. A large and continuously improved network of public transportation, educational institutions, shopping facilities, courses, doctors, a variety of cafés and restaurants and various recreational facilities make the region worth living in. The infrastructure is literally world class and locals and guests alike benefit from this.
