From USA to Seefeld: THE OREGON AMBASSADORS OF MUSIC under the direction of Dr. Steve Zielke

The Oregon Ambassadors of Music: for some 30 years, young musicians from all over the state of Oregon (USA) have come to Europe to perform concerts and act as musical ambassadors for their homeland.

To prepare for the tours, the musicians meet for four to six days of intensive rehearsals, learning from some of the best conductors in the north-west of the United States. The result is a fantastic display of the power of music when performed by these young artists who are fully committed to using their music to make the world a better place.

Under the direction of Dr. Steve Zielke, the Oregon Ambassadors of Music Choir will deliver a unique eclectic and energetic sound experience, with US folk songs and spirituals, classic choral works from Europe and international melodies. The choir is made up of around 180 of the most talented vocalists from the US state of Oregon.

The aim of the choir is to use music to be the best possible ambassadors of their homeland. They are convinced that the language of music can transcend borders and send a message of love, peace and understanding.

After a long pandemic-related break, the Oregon Ambassadors of Music are finally returning to Europe this year - with even more musicians than before - and will delight audiences in France, Switzerland, Austria and Germany.
