NATURE WATCH is waiting for YOU!
Join us on a journey through the local history of the utilisation of wood. In the 19th century the timber felled in the Karwendel massif was driven down the river to Scharnitz where it was processed. This nature hike takes us through the fascinating Gleirschklamm gorge, through the Isertal valley and on to the Oberbrunnalm mountain hut (possibility for refreshment), continue through the "Kreidegraben" back to Scharnitz. Our tour ends with a visit to the ‘Holzerhütte’ museum of logging.
Sturdy shoes and weatherproof clothing are absolutely necessary! Enough to take along for a drink! The tour is conducted in German.
Duration: approx. 8 h (7 h pure walking time), price: € 9 with guest card | without guest card € 25. Registration: until Tuesday, 5 pm - at your landlord, in one of the information offices or via our online shop www.seefeld.com/shop. Max. number of participants: 15 pers.
