The staging of a show relies on a modern arrangement with the support of a professional light show, laser animations and optional film feeds: High in the north, where storms and icy waves shaped the land over millennia, lie the Scottish Highlands. In lush glens, on the shores of lochs and waterfalls shrouded in mist, lies a world all of its own, where the boundaries between times are blurred and where a stone circle means more than a collection of erratic blocks. Even today, the stories of battles and heroes, fates and hostile clans, spurned love and infinite pride are told to the sound of bagpipes. Nowhere else do the melodies sound like they do in the Highlands. Nowhere else does silence speak to the observer like it does in the Scottish Highlands, nowhere else do the moorland landscapes and valleys fire the imagination like they do here.
