Organ concert with Werner Reidinger at the parish church of Seefeld at 8:30 p.m.
Werner Reidinger (born 1960) comes from Payerbach on the Semmeringbahn.
After studying theology in Vienna and Würzburg, he studied church music at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (organ with Peter Planyavsky, choral conducting with Erwin Ortner). What he learned there and in courses from Josuah Rifkin, Jim Murray, Michael Eberth, and Thomas Gabriel is now being heard by his students. From 1991 to 2026, he was the regional cantor of the Archdiocese of Salzburg in the Lower Tyrol. In the churches of the region, he taught several highly gifted students at the organ. He is particularly proud of his collaboration with jazz singer Gail Anderson and with the trombone quartet "OPUS 4" from the Leipzig Gewandhaus – and, of course, of his choir singers: since 1991, he has also been the choir director for all age groups (children's choir, rhythmic choir, church choir) and organist in Söll. He occasionally receives composition commissions, and sometimes he composes on his own.
