Since 1931, ski jumping has been practiced in Seefeld in Tyrol. The first jumping hill was opened under the name Jahnschanze, and in 1948 it was renamed after the Seefeld ski legend Anton Seelos.

In 2010, the hill was demolished to make way for two new ones: the Toni Seelos Hills HS75 and HS109. The hills were ceremonially opened later that same year.
