The public library of Scharnitz is located on the first floor of the local municipal office and offers a small but fine selection of specialist books, magazines, comics and reading works for all ages. A children's corner keeps the little ones busy, while the grown-ups can browse undisturbed in their favourite books on comfortable reading armchairs. A selection of popular games can also be borrowed from the library.
