A Space for Recreation

Our Space, Our Responsibility – Sustainability for Locals and Guests

In the Region Seefeld, we create a living and recreational space that respects the needs of both locals and visitors. From maintaining and improving infrastructure to actively involving the local community, we focus on sustainable development that balances ecological, economic, and social aspects. As the largest organization on the plateau, we prioritize both guest satisfaction and the perspectives of our local residents in our development strategy. Through surveys and working groups, we engage the community to shape a future-oriented and sustainable region—together.

Our regional clubs—such as music bands, volunteer fire brigades, mountain rescue teams, Krampus groups, and ski clubs—receive generous annual funding to support their valuable work.

Major events, like the Karwendel March with 2,500 participants or the Nordic Combined Triple, would not be possible without the close collaboration with these clubs. These partnerships not only strengthen local community life but also provide guests with authentic holiday experiences in the Seefeld region.

Together, we are shaping a region that offers quality of life, preserves tradition, and looks sustainably toward the future.
