The "Zottl" as the Scottish Highland cattle are also called, enjoy a lot of freedom of movement and care in their open stall at Zottlhof. In the summer months, the woolly cows and bulls spend their time on the pasture or on the high pasture and thus enjoy fresh herbs and grasses for most of the year. In winter, they are pampered with fragrant hay. This is how the best specialities are created, such as Kaminwurzen (sausages), Hauswürste (sausages) or various meat specialities, which are offered to order and in the adjacent farm shop.
In addition, various natural products "Tiroelr Heutraum" are offered there, which are made from hand-picked herbs from the fields in the beautiful Leutasch valley. The products range from Tyrolean mountain meadow hay jellies and syrups to "heduftenden" vinegar & liqueur specialities.
