The rural Tyrolean community of Scharnitz is nestled in a fascinating mountain landscape not far from the Bavarian border. Untouched nature, solitary hiking destinations, and impressive expanses: On a total area of 727 square kilometers, rocky mountain formations and extensive forests and meadows extend. Mountain bikers and e-bikers can enjoy a wide range of trails while climbing enthusiasts can discover varied routes in the rock. Or you can savor regional delicacies and fresh drafts at the lovingly maintained alpine huts in the Karwendel.
