Welcome to the apartment house Karwendelgold in Scharnitz!
Scharnitz is the gateway to the Karwendel and lies in the middle of the Karwendel nature park! Whether summer or winter in Scharnitz there is a lot to explore.
Our house Karwendelgold is the ideal starting point for hikes, e-bike tours, mountain biking and walks in summer.
If you arrive without mountain bikes or e-bikes, it is possible to rent them.
Information can be found in the information office in Scharnitz.

Leave your car at home in winter, our house is also a central starting point for cross-country skiing, ski tours and snowshoeing.
Our apartment house Karwendelgold is only 5 minutes on foot from the bus stop of the free ski bus to the mountain railway Rosshütte and to Gschwandtkopf.
Other highlights in Scharnitz are the source of the Isar, the wood museum, the Kneipp facility, the Porta Claudia (cultural hike), the Gleirschklamm, the Isarsteig and the movement course.
The train station Scharnitz can be reached on foot within 10 minutes. The train takes you over the beautiful Inn Valley directly to Innsbruck and back again.
