Carnival in the Seefeld Region

Really crazy!

Hex, Goggl, Naz, Kusenroller, Bear and Trina are the traditional carnival figures in the Seefeld region. As the old customs dictate, each village tells its own colorful village stories during carnival time. With elaborate parades, festively decorated floats, lovingly maintained costumes, and hand-carved masks, the carnival season in the Seefeld region becomes an authentically "crazy" experience every year, where nothing and no one is taken too seriously, and Tyrol's high plateau turns upside down for a few days.

The Most Convenient Way to Travel to the Seefeld Region.

By Train to the Carnival Parade

Without the desperate search for parking and without bumper-to-bumper traffic – those who travel to the Seefeld region by train will quickly realize how worthwhile the environmentally friendly alternative is compared to driving their own vehicle. From Innsbruck, you can reach the train station in Seefeld, directly adjacent to the pedestrian zone in Seefeld, in about 35 minutes. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a true winter wonderland unlike that of the state capital! The same applies coming from Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
