Equipment tip: poles and spikes
A good pair of walking poles is always advisable and will provide you with extra support and comfort. If you want to feel really sure-footed while walking, bring along some spikes for your walking boots. The spikes have been specially developed for winter use and give you good support on snow and ice. Poles and spikes are available in the sports shops in the region.
