Climbing Gyms & Bad Weather Alternatives

If the weather isn’t cooperating and climbing outdoors is impossible, there are several excellent alternative options in the nearby area. Just a few kilometers away, in Telfs and Innsbruck, there are two modern climbing gyms. The climbing center in Innsbruck offers everything a climber's heart desires. With 500 climbing routes and 200 bouldering options, both recreational climbers and elite athletes will find plenty to enjoy. The facility in Telfs boasts a climbing area of 1400 m² with around 180 bouldering and 100 rope routes. In addition, the climbing gyms are popular meeting spots for all mountain sports enthusiasts.
