The TVB Seefeld will initiate a broad public participation process aimed at bringing together diverse stakeholders and interested parties to further develop the tourism destination region of Seefeld - Tyrol's high plateau in a sustainable way. Building on the groundwork of recent years and the award of the Austrian Eco-Label to the destination, it is now essential to engage the population and establish a 'Plateau Team' with stakeholders from politics, business, and the local community to further develop tourism as a cross-sectoral community project.

Mobility is a key success factor for companies, employees, and regions. This is exactly where the INTERREG project NetWorkMob comes into play, which aims to develop innovative approaches for sustainable business mobility management during the project period 2025-2027. Under the leadership of Climate Alliance Tyrol, the focus is on networking, knowledge transfer, and tailored solutions for businesses.
The Seefeld region is now an official project partner and actively contributes its regional perspective to the cross-border project. The goal is to develop sustainable and economically viable mobility strategies while simultaneously further developing the mobility management of the Seefeld Tourist Board.

This project is being implemented in collaboration with Innsbruck Tourism and the Austrian Federal Association for People with Disabilities (ÖZIV). We aim to further develop our regions of Seefeld and Innsbruck to provide greater benefits for affected guests (e.g., families, wheelchair users, visually impaired individuals, hearing impaired individuals). Primarily, we support tourist accommodation providers in expanding or integrating their offerings for Inclusive Tourism. Through collaboration with experts, additional stakeholders, and existing good practice examples, a meaningful and high-quality project will be realized.

The project develops a cross-border visitor monitoring system in the context of the EUREGIO Zugspitze Wetterstein Karwendel, in order to direct visitor flows and protect the natural environment. By using a combination of sensor-based visitor counting and digital GPS data, reliable analyses and forecasts are created, which are visualized in a heatmap. This enables informed tourism management, optimizes ranger deployment, and supports political decisions regarding overtourism.
