On the trail of the old woodworkers

Take a trip back in time on the loggers’ trail. In the 19th century, felled timber in the Karwendel was driven along the river to Scharnitz for processing and
this walk traces part of the wood-cutting and log-driving route. Starting off alongside the rushing water of the Gleirsch gorge, the route then continues along the pretty Hochwald trail back to Scharnitz where you can enjoy a visit to the Holzerhütte (loggers’ museum).

Duration: until 15.00, 5 hours walking time, 470 metres height difference.

Price: with guest card € 19.00, without € 30.00 - you get the guest card PlateauCard free of charge from your host and you can book the experiences for a reduced price. The guest card must be presented on site before the start of the event in addition to the booking confirmation.

Cancellation conditions: No free cancellation possible! In case of cancellation due to weather conditions or if the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will automatically be reimbursed.
