Fancy trying something new? The Isar in Scharnitz also offers the perfect backdrop for a special challenge in spring and fall: cold water swimming - also known as ice swimming when the water temperature is below 5 degrees. It is ideal for anyone who wants to take their first steps in the cold water without plunging into sub-zero temperatures or who wants to prepare for winter. Sylvie Schumann is a certified ice bath trainer and knows the powerful effects on body and mind: The cold invigorates, relaxes and provides a real happiness boost!

Swimwear, a towel and clothing suitable for the weather are essential. Participation from the age of 16 and at your own risk, between the ages of 16 and 18 parental consent is required. Bathing shoes are recommended or are also available on site depending on availability.
