In memory of the last Seyrling farmer, we humorously adopted the name, resulting in “Sigis Sauhaufen”.

This farmhouse is the dream of Alois Seyrling, and after a 7-year planning phase, it is finally complete.

  • The main part of the building was constructed from moon-felled wood from our own forest.
  • The necessary heat energy comes from solar energy and the local bio district heating Seefeld.
  • We cover our electricity needs with modern photovoltaic systems.

The barn and the outdoor enclosure are freely accessible for young and old and we regularly offer guided tours. Additionally, it is wheelchair accessible and accessible for those with disabilities.

Who else lives with us: Miniature cattle “Dahomey”, mini goats, dwarf donkeys, ponies, Vietnamese pigs, floppy-eared rabbits, and silk hens, among others.

This private property is a natural gem, surrounded by the Seefeld Wildsee, the Gschwandtkopf, and the Seefelder Seekirchl, spanning over 150,000 m², and we are very happy to make it available for public use.

In the petting zoo there is plenty of room for our:

  • Pastures for sheep/goats/cattle
  • Free-range areas for our wandering hens
  • Cultivation of kitchen and tea herbs
  • Cultivation of hops for our brewery
  • Cultivation of vegetables and potatoes
  • Cultivation of apples and traditional orchard
