In memory of the last Seyrling farmer, we humorously adopted the name and thus came up with “Sigis Sauhaufen”
This farmhouse is the lifelong dream of Alois Seyrling and after 7 years of planning, it is finally here.
- The main part of the building was constructed from moonbeam wood from our own forest.
- The necessary heat energy comes from solar energy and from the bio-local heating Seefeld.
- We meet our electricity needs through modern photovoltaics.
The stable and outdoor area are freely accessible for young and old and we offer regular tours. Additionally, Sigis Sauhaufen is barrier-free and accessible for wheelchair users. Please note: The access road to the stable is paved but very steep (significantly over 6% incline).
Who else lives with us: Dwarf cattle “Dahomey”, mini goats, dwarf donkeys, ponies, Vietnamese pigs, floppy-eared rabbits, and silk chickens, among others.
This private property is a natural jewel, nestled between the Seefelder Wildsee, the Gschwandtkopf, and the Seefelder Seekirchl, covering an area of 150,000 m², and we gladly make it available for free public use.
In the petting zoo there's plenty of space for our:
- Pasture areas for sheep/goats/cattle
- Free-range areas for our wandering hens
- Cultivation of kitchen and herbal teas
- Cultivation of hops for
