The “Zottl,” as the Scottish Highland cattle are also called, enjoy a lot of freedom and care in their open barn at the Zottlhof. In the summer months, the fluffy cows with their calves and bulls spend their time in the pasture or on the alpine meadow, enjoying fresh herbs and grasses for most of the year . In winter, they are pampered with fragrant hay in the open barn at Zottlhof. This results in the best specialties such as Kaminwurzen, house sausages, or various meat specialties, which are offered on order in the adjacent farm shop. Here, the Zottl can also be visited for a private tour and petting sessions during the winter months. Wheelchair users can also easily reach Zottlhof.

Additionally, various natural products "Tiroler Heutraum" are offered, which are made from hand-picked herbs from the fields in the beautiful Leutaschtal. The product range extends from Tiroler mountain meadow hay jelly, syrups, and teas to “hay-scented” vinegar and liqueur specialties.
