That was "Going Up with Culture" at the Alpin Resort Sacher.

Seefeld, June 15, 2020. Seefeld offers everything that tourism researchers refer to as "new values," which are gaining importance for people: sustainability, regionality, safety, and a conscious approach to resources. This was confirmed last weekend (June 11 to 14) by 20 artists who followed an invitation from Elisabeth Gürtler to her Alpin Resort Sacher. "Traveling to Seefeld is easy and uncomplicated, and here you can find everything that constitutes the new summer freshness: peace, nature, enjoyment, deceleration, and movement. And I am pleased that culture and artists have now also found their way to Seefeld," said Elisabeth Gürtler.

The journey on Thursday – with the Railjet from Vienna to Innsbruck in 4 hours and 14 minutes – was used for exchanging views on the current situation in art and culture, as well as in tourism. "This trip means a lot to us. It is a fantastic opportunity to connect culture with culinary and hospitality. Culture is a feeling of life. I believe we are also sending a sign of hope today," Schade was pleased about the days in Tyrol. And "baritone for all occasions" Clemens Unterreiner added: "A new era is beginning that we want to shape sensibly and responsibly. We enjoy the freedom of nature, art, culture, and clean air. One thing is for sure: this trip will be unforgettable."

The 20 artists turned the Alpin Resort Sacher into a stage for three days – with the highlight on Friday, June 12 – and made a strong cultural-tourist statement. The feel-good atmosphere included the artistic program presented on Friday, which was curated by chamber singer Michael Schade. On the improvised outdoor stage by the swimming lake

of the Alpin Resort Sacher, there were arias and songs, concerts, readings, and dialogues. "Bergauf mit Cultour" – referred to by many as "country outing with culture" – was enjoyed by around 80 listeners: "everyday heroes," hotel guests, and invited guests. "One must assume that the sun is shining and believe in it – in every respect," host Elisabeth Gürtler was not only happy about the sunshine but also especially about the excellent, optimistic, cheerful atmosphere in her hotel.

The Bergauf-mit-Cultour trip also included culinary delights and an outdoor well-being program with e-bike tours, hikes, and yoga.

On Saturday, guests enjoyed the unique panorama at Seefelder Joch, looking towards Tyrol and Germany (only the Zugspitze had hidden behind a cloud). After some photos at the summit cross, they were invited by Mayor Werner Frießer to a Weißwurst breakfast and then to the recently opened Astoria Alm of Elisabeth Gürtler in the center of Seefeld.

"We are excited about the great initiative by Elisabeth Gürtler, which makes the entire town of Seefeld a stage and gives us the opportunity to show Seefeld at its best – with quality and individuality," summarized Werner Frießer, Mayor of Seefeld.
