We value the protection of your personal data. We process your data exclusively in accordance with legal regulations (e.g. GDPR, DSG 2000, TKG 2003).

At events organized by the Seefeld Tourism Association, images will be taken, including photos and videos, where you may be depicted as a visitor. If you do not wish to be photographed, we will certainly take your request seriously, please inform the photographer.

These images will be used for the purposes of:

  • documenting the event
  • public reporting
  • external presentation

.

In general, the publication of these images (for example, in public reports, folder creation, on the internet) will occur without linking them to other personal data such as names.
Images will typically be stored for up to five years; in individual cases, images may be stored longer for archiving and documentation purposes (e.g. for publications related to anniversaries or for documentation purposes).

The legality of the processing is based on one of the following reasons:

  • Consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR

Whenever possible, consent will be obtained for the processing of images. If you pose for photos, we will assume you consent to the aforementioned processing purposes. Consent is given voluntarily. You can refuse this without stating reasons, and without fearing any disadvantages. Moreover, you can revoke your consent in writing (e.g. letter, email) to the responsible entity at any time, either fully or partially.

  • Legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR in conjunction with §12 DSG and §13 DSG

Images that depict the atmosphere rather than focusing solely on the individuals portrayed serve public relations and reporting on the activities of the Seefeld Tourism Association, aiming to increase the region's visibility. We assume that the capturing and use of these images does not excessively interfere with your rights and freedoms, as you voluntarily participate in the event and have been informed in advance about the capture of images.

If particularly worthy of consideration reasons should indicate that your rights and freedoms are violated, the Seefeld Tourism Association will refrain from further processing by taking appropriate measures. The deletion of images will then occur within the realm of technical feasibility. For instance, images already published in print media cannot be deleted.

If it is necessary to involve processors, we remain responsible for complying with data protection regulations. In the context of press work, images may be shared with the press, radio, and television.

Photos, film recordings, and interviews of the participant made in connection with attending an event may be shared with third parties for the purpose of public relations or to promote the event. Transmission to recipients outside the EU/EEA or to an international organization is not intended.

You generally have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, revocation, and objection. To exercise your rights, please contact us. You can reach our data protection officer at anton.greil@compliant-it.eu

If you believe that the processing of your data violates applicable data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in another way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at). However, we would appreciate it if you contact us first.
