Winter hiking

A winter forest is full of wonders. In some places, invisible beings leave traces in the snow, and the silence tells a thousand stories. One walks silently through the white forest, and each step creates new footprints. Along the way, stars sparkle in the forest, shattered sunbeams between countless ice crystals. And for a moment, it seems that time has frozen in the cold winter air.
Not far from Seefeld yet far from the noises of the village center lies the Lehenwald on the high plateau at 1,200 meters. The hiking trail winds several kilometers through the romantic winter forest. The snow glistens on the trees, and it seems to swallow the sounds of everyday life.
What remains are the soft cracking and crunching of footsteps in the snow, the gentle in and out of breath, and peaceful tranquility. The sound of winter hiking makes it easier for children and adults to fall asleep, helps with relaxation, and quenches the longing for mountains and snow.
