Operating hours

All ski slopes are out of service and closed daily from 5:00 PM to 9:00 AM! During this time, no safety measures are in place!
Exceptions: Events according to schedule (touring evenings, etc.)

Parking

All, including tourers, who have a seasonal or annual ticket (like a leisure ticket) can use the parking lot/parking garage at the Rosshütte cable cars free of charge. Otherwise, the usage fee is € 10.00.

Please keep in mind:

You are also a guest in our ski area as a touring skier.
The daily grooming of the slopes takes a lot of time and costs a lot of money. Therefore, it is irresponsible towards the paying ski guests if you find a bumpy slope in the morning – caused by extensive carving turns.
Additionally, this is also very dangerous for the skiers in the morning! As a touring skier, you descend on a freshly groomed slope; these bumps then freeze overnight...

Safe & Fair on Ski Tours – an information campaign by the state of Tyrol in collaboration with the Rosshütte cable cars and other ski resorts and organizations...[more]

Please adhere to the designated route and the opened slope. All other paths and slopes are closed due to grooming work (WARNING – CABLE WINCH OPERATION)! The Rosshütte cable cars do not take any responsibility for any damages!

Please note:

  • Act on your own responsibility!
  • Always stay at the edge of the slope!
  • Ascend one after another (not side by side)!
  • Avoid crossing the slopes!
  • Descend at the edge of the slope (after working hours)!
  • Wear clearly visible clothing and a headlamp!
  • Please keep dogs on a leash!
  • You must follow the instructions of slope or lift personnel!
  • Failure to comply may result in expulsion from the area!
  • Snowmobiles (SKIDOO or ATV) are in operation in winter before, during, and after business hours!
Alpine emergency call of mountain rescue:

You can reach the Tyrolean Mountain Rescue at the phone number "140". Additionally, you can request assistance at any staffed lift station.

Avalanche Warning:
  • Please pay attention to the avalanche warnings (flashing light) on the panoramic boards at the valley station and at the mid station.
  • Before your tour, inform yourself about the current (local) snowpack and the avalanche report (www.lawine.at).
  • Please only use marked and secured slopes!
Warning: Life Danger!

Please note that in winter, after the end of operation, snow groomers – some equipped with winches – are on the slopes in the ski area.

  • Do not descend unprotected in the dark!
  • Do not cross the slopes!
  • Wear reflective clothing and headlamps! For your safety – especially at dusk and at night!
  • Please pay attention to the times indicated at the lift stations for the last inspection run of the slope service.
