Cross-country skiing

A deep breath of Alpine freshness, and then off in a running stride: The cross-country skier glides almost silently through the snowy landscape. The freshly groomed trail gently crunches underfoot in a rhythmic alternating stride, white clouds of breath linger in the winter air for seconds.
