Alpine pastures & huts
Surrounded by green alpine meadows, the cosy Solsteinhaus nestles at 1,805 metres above sea level below the Großer Solstein in the Karwendel Nature Park. The inviting atmosphere offers an attractive excursion destination for challenging mountain tours in the summer months and spoils hiking guests with hearty Tyrolean specialities. For group excursions and alpine tours lasting several days, a seminar room and 85 overnight camps are also available. Not far from the Solsteinhaus, a modern climbing garden, a flying fox and a new outdoor climbing wall also provide plenty of action in the Alps.
OVERNIGHT STAY
In the summer months, up to 85 people can stay in the cosy Solsteinhaus in small private rooms or in the communal mattress dormitory. Training facilities and a seminar room for up to 30 participants are also available for group, school class and company excursions. You can even take a hot shower in the state-of-the-art sanitary facilities for a small fee. The hosts ask for reservations in good time; bookings can also be made online.
