Barrier-free travel to the Seefeld region in Tyrol

Barrier-free travel & mobility on-site in the Seefeld region

The barrier-free travel to the Seefeld region – Tyrol's high plateau – is easy and comfortable. Whether by train, car or public transport: suitable solutions are available for people with mobility restrictions.

By car:

Central located disabled parking spaces are in the vicinity of accommodations, recreational facilities, and shops.

By train:

The Seefeld Train Station in Tyrol is barrier-free – equipped with a lifting platform, level train platforms, and a tactile guidance system. From there, there are good connections by barrier-free bus or taxi to surrounding towns such as Leutasch, Mösern, Reith, and Scharnitz. The demand-responsive train stops Gießenbach and Leithen are also barrier-free accessible. The stations in Scharnitz and Reith are, however, only partially barrier-free. You can find detailed information in the respective entries.

By public bus connections:

Modern Regional Buses with low entrances allow barrier-free travel within the region. Transfers from the airport or train station are also possible via external providers.

Accessible Taxi Services

There are currently no accessible taxis in the Seefeld region. However, transport services such as Taxidriver Tirol and Taxi Förg Telfs offer accessible transportation that can be used in the region.
