To the destination by public transport
Mobility on site
If you want to be completely mobile in the extensive Region Seefeld, you no longer need a car. That's why we cordially invite you to travel to the region by train and then use all the public transport on the plateau free of charge when you show your guest card. The station and bus terminal connects all five villages as well as the most beautiful favourite places and excursion destinations in the region. Our mobility and information centre supports you directly on site with all connections, departure times and questions about accessibility.
New public transport concept summer 2023
Higher, faster, further!
As of 09 July 2023, our new public transport concept for the Seefeld region has come into force: 365 days a year, four bus lines and/or the train will travel to all regional towns and as far as Telfs. In summer and winter there will be two more lines to Wildmoos and Gaistal, as well as seasonal ski buses. The public transports come together at the central train station and bus terminal in Seefeld and are optimally coordinated in terms of time.
All current timetables are available right here at a glance and can be downloaded for when you're on the go. By the way, with the mobility app "Wegfinder" you can always find the best way from A to B – whether on foot, by public transport, on a bike or in your own car.
Guest card = ticket
The guest card is valid during your stay as a ticket for all public bus connections in the region (up to Telfs and Mittenwald). In addition, the train ride between Seefeld and Scharnitz and the Wildmoosbus are also included. You will receive the guest card from your landlord (digital or/and printed).
Good to know for public transport use: on the day of arrival, your accommodation reservation confirmation (digital or printed) lets you travel by bus for free from the train stations in Seefeld, Reith by Seefeld or Mittenwald, as well as from the FlixBus bus stop in Seefeld, to the bus stop nearest your accommodation (the bus routes 430, 431, 432, 433 and 434 are included in this service, as are the Seefeld ski buses. Please be aware of departure times, bus stops and route plan).
