Parking, Public Transport & Starting Points in Gaistal

The romantic Gaistal in Leutasch in Tyrol, where the beauty of untouched nature shapes the landscape, extends from Oberleutasch-Klamm westward into the alpine world between the Mieminger Chain and Wetterstein Mountains. The central starting point for hikes to the managed alpine pastures as well as the numerous mountain huts and shelters are the five parking areas between the Klamm and the end of the public road at Salzbach. At the hiking parking lot (P4), one can find the idyllic natural Kneipp facility Salzbach.

Furthermore, the Line 433 (Seefeld – Leutasch/Weidach – Gaistal) operates from July to October and from December to March. The guest card PlateauCard is valid as a ticket on this line. Otherwise, the fare regulations of the VVT apply for this route (more info here).
