For a long time, a path through the gorge seemed impossible. In addition to the steep terrain, rockfalls, landslides, and high water had to be considered. Today, a combination of steel consoles and bridge abutments allows for the beautiful and safe trail. In total, the trail is 875 meters long and weighs 68 tons.

With summer 2023, the Geisterklamm captivates with a newly designed thematic trail. A total of 25 new stations and panels have been established for this purpose.
