Chapels
This chapel was built in the 17th century and dedicated to the Heart of Mary. It is located right by the Puitbach and impresses with its extraordinary location. The sound of the Puitbach and the stunning mountain backdrop formed by the Öfelekopf and the Dreitorspitze make this place truly special.
Although the roof structure was renewed in 1984, the chapel is unfortunately in need of renovation. The altar painting depicts the Heart of Mary. The local chronicler of Leutasch, Matthais Reindl, reports on its former furnishings: “Statues: Heart of Jesus, Savior at the Pillar of Scourging. Additionally, there are some very ancient silhouette pictures; two votive tablets from 1850.”
