The Seefeld region at 1,200 meters above sea level can offer both: hot sunny days and fresh mountain summer nights. Nature is paramount in Tyrol's high plateau, starting right at the hotel door and offering everything from gentle, sun-kissed alpine meadows to shady forests to the rugged cliffs of Karwendel and Wetterstein. Summer refreshment can also be found in a classic way in the region. The Erlebnisbad Seefeld and the Alpenbad Leutasch offer splash areas, water slides, and playgrounds fun for the whole family. The Freibad Strandperle at Wildsee combines a swimming pool and natural lake and also offers pedal boat and SUP rentals. For those who prefer something more natural, the Möserer See and various streams provide unspoiled cooling off. In the Gleirsch and Geisterklamm, you can even combine these with impressive hikes – information boards will transport you into the mystical world of water sprites and gorge spirits.

Nature Ideal: Natural Park Karwendel
With the Gleirschklamm, you find yourself right in the Naturpark Karwendel, which also hosts the Isar source. But it’s not just the waters that make a trip to Austria's largest natural park a special experience. Because of its unique topography, the natural park has an above-average share of natural habitats, includes primeval forests and wild rivers, and is home to many species of flora and fauna that are of European significance, such as the Golden Eagle, the White-backed Woodpecker, or the critically endangered Lady's Slipper Orchid. First, there's the traditional Karwendelmarsch, which inspires 2,500 trail runners and hikers to push their limits every August, and then there’s the Karwendel Höhenweg, which leads over six days through the crests and peaks of the natural park from hut to hut.
